NCF-Resinply
Introduction of new NCF products applicable to press molding such as continuous compression molding.
Features In terms of design flexibility, there is a notable adaptability regarding specifications such as material selection, layering composition, and stitch design. Additionally, it is possible to continuously manufacture substrates with reinforcing fibers oriented both vertically and horizontally, as well as diagonally, allowing for product proposals tailored to customer requirements. To impart drapeability, the selection of reinforcing fibers and resins for the substrate, design of weight specifications, layering composition, and stitch conditions can facilitate material deformation, or conversely, adjust materials to achieve shape stability under load. Regarding labor-saving in the molding process, in the layering process, there is no need to separately layer or inject resin layers as is common with typical NCFs; instead, cut materials can be directly layered and then heated and pressurized to obtain molded products. As for obtaining molded products with stable quality, NCF-Resinply is a material where the reinforcing fibers (NCF) and resin layers are integrated through stitching, which minimizes disturbances in the orientation of the reinforcing fibers due to resin flow during heating and pressurization, thereby enhancing fiber orientation accuracy. This allows molded products to achieve various physical properties, including the strength and rigidity intended by the designer.
